Configuration

  • Widget Heading Same as other widgets.
  • Event Counter The widget highlights when there are consecutive values exceeding either the upper or the lower confidence levels. This counter determines the threshold at which these highlights are generated.
  • Data Resolution – Determines whether (by default) the data shown is raw or aggregated.
  • Show Expected Line The model generates three lines: regression (or expected), upper confidence, and lower confidence. The regression line can be hidden. This is the setting for that function.

Widget Operation

The toolbar at the top of the widget provides the user with some options.

  • Model – This shows a drop-down list of configured models applicable to the configured points for this widget and the current selection in the data tree.
  • Information – When this button is pressed information is shown about the selected model in a pop-up window.
  • Data Resolution – This is an override for the configuration option.
  • Event Count – This is an override for the configuration option.
  • Dependent Variable – This allows the data from any other point (with the same units as the dependent variable used to create the model) to be overlaid on the graph for comparison with expected results.
Note: Changes to these options will be remembered for the current user.

When a site is selected in the left hierarchy tree, by default, modelled data is displayed using the dependent point that was used to generate the model. A list of points on the same site, having the same units will be populated in the dependent variable list. Selecting any one of these variables will overlay a dependent point’s actual data on to the graph, so it can be compared to the output of the selected model. This only makes sense when comparing data over the same time period.
